‘Seasonal British’ could be considered something of a new-wave in food but Clarke’s has been serving precisely that for over 30 years. Situated in London’s Notting Hill, with its classic interior and private dining, in a restaurant landscape of flavoured dusts, foams and dry ice, Clarke’s offers something quite different. It’s little surprise the restaurant was favourite of artist Lucien Freud.
Early 2016 saw us redesigning Sally’s site bringing Restaurant, Shop and Bakery offerings into one place. We shot seasonal imagery which would form the backdrop for the Restaurant and Shop pages, as well as creating and setting an art directional style for product photography used across the Bakery section of the site.
An elegant and simple design allows the beautiful photography to remain the focus throughout, with the site automatically rotating through images based on the season. A carefully considered content-management system that lets the team update all content in-house.
